Had a great experience with my partner. Random weekend treat. Food was super tasty and reasonable wait times. Service was friendly so not complaints. My partner had the veal and was really impressed, I went for a pizza (I'm a sucker for a good pizza) and wasn't disappointed. Will definitely be heading back in the new year
Had a fabulous experience last Saturday at the Italian Kitchen. We were a large group, but none of us had to wait for any of our courses. Food is absolutely superb and competitively priced. Portion sizes are generous and saw off a couple of our guests. Great staff who were so polite and attentive. Definitely worth a visit

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was all incredible and the portion sizes were huge, you won’t leave hungry! We paid 85 for 2 starters, 2 mains 1 side, 2 desserts and 2 cocktails - we even got 2 free shots at the end too so very very reasonable at 40ish per person! There’s a big selection of dishes on the menu with a decent choice of vegetarian options - at least a few in each section to choose from. The bruschetta was really flavourful. My partner had the mixed Italian bread starter and the flavoured butters with that were absolutely divine! Both the mains were super filling and wonderfully cooked. I had the Salmon and shrimp tagliatelle and they did not scrimp on the salmon or prawns which I was delighted with! We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left! We were sat by the fish tank which made for a very relaxing setting too. The atmosphere with the music and lighting was perfect. Staff were friendly and very quick with the service! A wonderful, independent, local restaurant that deserves support over the chain restaurants that will serve you half the portions for the same or more money.

Just finished the best meal in recent times. The food served here is pure pleasure. On top of the amazing food, the service is great with fantastic advice for any fussy eater. A special thanks to Simon, the Chef - that chicken was to die for. Thank you we will be back
